File Command

The file command indicates an input file to be processed.

The file command contains two parameters, the type of the items in the file and the name of the file to be processed. The type parameter is the same as that for the object command.

The format assumed for the file is determined by the object type and is one of .LNS for Line and derived types or .TPS for NamedPoint and derived types.

Note that the file name extension should be specified. It is not defaulted and not used in determining the type of the file.
